Collins + Company Tops in 2008 Addy Awards Competition.

Myrtle Beach, SC – Collins + Company Advertising/Design led all winners taking home 37 Addy Awards at the 2008 American Advertising Federation-Coastal Carolinas (AAFCC) Addy Awards ceremony held on February 9th at Club Touch at 2001.

Having earned 23 Gold Addys, 13 Silver Addys, and the Addy for “Best of Print,” the agency surpassed all other entrants with the most awards earned by any participating organization. Awards were earned for their work for The Carolina Opry, Wild Wing Plantation, Horry County Humane Society and VICARE (Virgin Islands Community Education Resource), The Guyton Law Firm, and Winchester Development.

This year marked the agency’s second appearance in the local competition. In business for a little over two years, the awards position Collins + Company as one of the most talented, up-and-coming agencies in the area. It also marked the first time in over 15 years that someone besides the area’s biggest agencies, LHWH Advertising & PR or Brandon Advertising & Public Relations, led in total awards.

A carefully selected panel of judges reviewed more than 300 entries of creative work done in 2007, before selecting the final winners.
